EDP, in partnership with the Centre for Social Research and Intervention (CIIS) at the Higher Institute of Social Sciences and Business Studies (ISCTE), is implementing a new methodology for conducting relations with local institutions and communities.
 

This initiative includes an internal awareness-raising activity on communicating risks and on the challenges associated with public engagement, together with the preparation of a manual of guidelines for the process of involving interested parties and building new energy generation projects.
 

This methodology is being tested at two new EDP projects in Portugal.
