EDP's new projects are primarily covered by national legislations, which requires the undertaking of an exhaustive environmental impact assessment of the different phases of the power station projects. EDP has established, in all other cases (some wind farms and distribution grid), guidelines that guarantee the minimisation of the environmental impact of such projects.
