Reducing Emissions within the Business

These are measures that may be implemented in EDP Group companies and can help to achieve emissions reductions in of themselves.  Some of these measures do not fall under the emissions trading scheme, but their introduction allows EDP to achieve, either directly or indirectly, its reduction targets.

EDP Renováveis is the world’s 3rd largest player in terms of wind energy. EDP wishes to continue to grow in the wind energy market, and it plans to achieve an installed capacity of 7,600 MW in 2010.
