The EDP's Sustainability Report presents the environmental, social and economic performance of the company and is intended to be a benchmark for the evaluation of sustainability performance in the future.

In 1997 EDP published its first Environment Report presenting environmental performance indicators. In 2003, EDP published its first sustainability report, that marked the natural evolution of the environmental reports the company has issued since 1997.
