A Crown Estate (entidade que gere a propriedade da coroa inglesa) concedeu à EDP Renováveis (“EDPR”) e à SeaEnergy PLC (“SeaEnergy”) uma área (Zona 1), no âmbito das adjudicações do concurso UK Round 3,  para o desenvolvimento de parques eólicos offshore no Estuário de Moray (Moray Firth), na Escócia, com uma capacidade instalada de cerca de 1,3 GW, suficiente para fornecer energia a 730 000 lares.

EDP Renewables (the fourth largest wind operator in the world), through its subsidiary Horizon Wind Energy, has just entered into a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to sell 115 MW of renewable wind energy from the first phase of its Pioneer Prairie Wind Farm located in Mitchell and Howard Counties in Iowa.
