Its activity is operationalised in Portugal by companies operating under the brand EDP Gás (EDP Gás Distribuição, EDP Gás Serviço Universal, EDP Gás.Com and EDP Gás Propano), and Spain, with the brand Naturgas Energía.
EDP operates in the gas business in Spain through Naturgas Energia, an energy sector group that operates in the gas transmission and distribution activities and that supplies gas to particular and corporate clients at competitive prices. The gas transmission and distribution are regulated activities, while the gas supply is a liberalized activity.
