On March 10, 2010, Pictet Asset Management (“Pictet”) notified EDP that as a result of a share transaction concluded on the 8th of March 2010, it had reduced its participation in EDP’s share capital to 70,096,235 ordinary shares of EDP.

Following these operations, the participation attributable to Pictet represents 1.92% of EDP’s share capital, corresponding to 1.94% of the voting rights.
