On November 30, 2010, Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway) notified EDP that it came to hold 75,142,834 ordinary shares of EDP, which corresponds to 2.06% of EDP’s share capital and 2.06% of the respective voting rights.

The significant shareholding resulted from the acquisition of 2,000,330 shares in the market and 12,900,000 shares over-the-counter on November 26, 2010.
