Following the strategy defined and announced to the market by EDP – Energias de Portugal S.A. and with the aim of divesting from non core assets, OPTEP SGPS, S.A., 100% held by EDP Imobiliária e Participações S.A., sold today 26,979,748 shares of Sonaecom, SGPS, S.A. (“Sonaecom”) at a price of €1.98 per share.

Following this disposal, EDP no longer has any Sonaecom shares.
