The implementation of the principles of a company is embodied in the day-to-day activities of its employees, according to ethical practices generally considered to be consensual but which, for reasons of appropriate disclosure, transparency and impartiality, increasingly more companies have opted to provide details on.

EDP has been governed over the years by a sense of ethics that has created an image in society of a serious company that is profoundly orientated to serving the community. The code of ethics of the EDP Group was published in 2005. This code contains the values upheld by the Company and it formalises and gathers under one document the main standards of professional conduct.

This document, which is adapted to the different countries in which EDP operates, was supplied to each individual worker of the Company.
